Costa Pacific Communities
190 acres
Orenco Station is a transit-oriented Traditional Neighborhood Design community just west of Portland and adjacent to a light rail station. At the heart of Orenco Station is a 7-acre mixed-use Town Center designed by Fletcher Farr Ayotte of Portland with shops, restaurants, service businesses, and a small grocery store, all within a five-minute walk. The Town Center also features loft residences above shops and live-work row houses. Iverson Architects was responsible for providing the residential land planning and the design of diverse housing types for the neighborhoods surrounding the Town Center including, condominiums, townhouses, row houses, and small-lot single-family homes with optional carriage units. A large central park, community recreation center, and numerous pocket parks are integrated into the project. Streets and paths are designed to slow automobile traffic and entice people out of cars and into the pedestrian and bicycle environment.
