Located at Broken Top in Bend, Oregon, this group of Bungalow and American Classic styled homes are the larger of two series of homes. The homes in the smaller series have garages that are entered from rear lanes.  To allow plotting on edge conditions and rear open spaces, the Manzanita homes were designed with garages accessed from the street, but set back from the front façade to minimize their impact on this pedestrian friendly community. Four two-story homes all have an optional bunkhouse above the garage in the rear for extra guests.  The popular, one-story home with its wrap-around porch adds to the diversity of the street scene.
