This site plan was driven by the downward slope of the land and the requirement to plot a townhouse product. The architecture was designed to "take-up" some of the slope and provide view opportunities, with some buildings stepping down the slope, others sited on level pads. Auto courts were introduced to avoid the monotony of garage doors lined up along a street. These auto courtyards are tree shaded piazzas surrounded by attached single-family homes with the character of hill town buildings in Tuscany. The facades are highly articulated and richly detailed, with turrets, covered balconies, stone veneer accents, and Italian shutters. Three 2-story and two 3-story floor plans offer 3 bedrooms, 2½ baths, dens, lofts, gourmet kitchens with breakfast nooks, master suites with walk-in closets, laundry rooms, direct access 2-car garages, private rear yards, patios, balconies, and optional fireplaces. The 3-story plans step down the hill and include walk-out basements with game rooms, a fourth bedroom with a 3rd bath, and patios.
